Being an orthodontist means so much to me, so much more than words can express.
I consider it a privilege to have a “job” like mine. I get to be creative, artistic, and highly interactive with interesting people, all while improving each person’s self-esteem by giving them healthy, beautiful smile. I enjoy every aspect of my day, but the highlight is laughing with our patients, hearing about their day and activities, and talking about their dreams for the future.
It is reassuring to know that the treatment I and our team offer has the potential to transform a person’s life – and for that change to last a lifetime. From visit to visit, we see how the gradual movement of teeth changes a person’s appearance, and as that happens, the individual feels more comfortable with how they look.
By the time a person finishes their treatment at Slidell Orthodontics, they have a new outlook on life, with a bright, healthy, and beautifully confident smile leading the way!
Truly, what could be a more amazing way to spend my days? ~ Dr. Jason Goltz

- Orthodontic Residency and Master of Science at the University of Washington School of Dentistry
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry

Offering patients cohesive, organized, and local care is important to Dr. Goltz. He stays at the forefront of orthodontic research, emerging trends, and new approaches to diagnostics and treatment planning. By studying and exploring the latest options, he is able to incorporate the best into patient care.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association and Lake Ponchartrain Study Club, learning from leaders in the field and from his peers.

Having spent a large part of his life swimming – he went to LSU on a swimming scholarship – Dr. Goltz still follows the sport, along with tennis
